Snowy Pass

Yay! Another digital piece from me! I did it! (It took me long enough.)

Anyway, this guy has a long walk through the blizzard to the next outpost.

As for the techy stuff:

Time needed: Painting alone: 2-3 hours +additional 3 hours of programs freezing. (Shift from MyPaint to GIMP for finishing touches alone took more than an hour, due to saving and loading issues).

Programs used: MyPaint and GIMP

This is my second biggest project I've been working on (Biggest one was 8000x4500), and biggest to be finished, looking sizewise. (Elsewise it took me an afternoon to make it) Original was almost 7000x4000. This said, I think I can forgive MyPaint for all lagginess while drawing the background, but I will never forgive its developers for not putting a "zoom meter" in the program, as I didn't even remotely know how big file I'm making. Also, I had a fuckery with MyPaint to crop it, since it first rendered PNG in size of 30000x25000, meaning all programs crashed when opening it. (Fortunately enough, I discovered that manual way of cropping exists in MyPaint, but it still almost crashed).

Snowflakes added in GIMP, which also lagged a lot on 7000x4000 source file. I reduced it to 1999x1080px of width, for the sake of the internet.
