Nobody Escapes With My Gold

It took me about 7 hours from start to finish. Total work probably amounts to appoximately 5 hours, maybe even less. The fun part about that is that the last hour was spent mainly with me thinking how to make this thing look more like a speedpaint.
And then it took me about twice as much to try to animate it (blender) and render all 127 frames animation would have, put them in GIMP, optimize stuff for animation and make a test GIF before even trying to boot Windoge to try to make an APNG out of it. 

I used GIMP, it's default brushes (most of work was done with your standard round 100% hardness brush. Texture for coins was self-made brush (animated, 5 splats of soft round brush on multiple layers), the final texture that you can see on everything was GIMP's default Texture Hose brush (but the layers with this texture took the hard edged circle eraser to the knee).

Please don't mention The Desolation of Smaug movie in the comments. Just... don't. (Not like people would comment, though).
